Fans of Sarah O’Rourke’s fabulous Passion in Paradise series won’t want to miss this one! I adore this series, and Aunt Orla was one of those characters whom I wanted to know more about. I was so excited when Sarah announced this book!
Set in Paradise, Tennessee in the early 1960s, this sweet and sexy love story was befitting the fierce and feisty McKinnon family matriarch, Aunt Orla. Throughout this series, I’ve always looked forward to whatever Aunt Orla was going to get up to, so my curiosity about this character’s backstory has definitely grown with each book. In the series present day, readers know all about Aunt Orla and Uncle Jethro, what was missing was how they met and fell in love.
Wed by Wednesday was everything I hoped it would be. A brave, young Orla, knowing what she wanted in her life and suddenly presented with the opportunity for it, risked it all to grab hold to it. Stubborn and set in his ways, Jethro was not looking for love or for a wife. But fate (in the form of his stepmother) had other ideas, and once glance at this fiery, determined redhead, and he was a goner.
Wed by Wednesday was a great addition to one of my favorite series! I absolutely loved it! 5 smooches from me!
