REVIEW:
A wonderfully lighthearted, witty and sexy romantic comedy, When The Walls Come Down was exactly what I wanted to read. A bit of a workplace romance, with a splash of serendipity, Aly Martinez and M. Mabie came together for the first time to tell a story that was teeming with brilliant banter and heart-tugging in the best of ways.
The struggle was real for Shane and Maggie. The job or the relationship. Everything you’ve worked for or everything you dream of. Aly and Mo gave readers an addictive gem about two people who positively lit the pages on fire with their magical Friday-night meet-cute followed by a whirlwind weekend rich with possibility and promise, only to have those flames doused by the cold water of reality when they get to work the following Monday.
Aly Martinez and M. Mabie created some serious romcom magic in When The Walls Come Down. Endearing characters, crisp and clever writing, and a sweet, sexy romance combine for a perfectly charming, feel-good read that was just the kind of unputdownable entertainment I was hoping for. Five smooches from me for When The Walls Come Down by Aly Martinez and M. Mabie!
