**Every 1001 Dark Nights novella is a standalone story. For new readers, it’s an introduction to an author’s world. And for fans, it’s a bonus book in the author’s series. We hope you’ll enjoy each one as much as we do.**

REVIEW:

I’m a huge Kristen Ashley fan, and her Chaos series is among my all-time top favorite series. It’s one of the series that I reread often. I’m going to take any chance that I can to slip back into that world, especially when new material is offered up. For us diehard KA fans, Wild Wind, a 1001 Dark Nights novella, is a chance to head back to the compound and commune with those bikers and their women. For a reader new to Kristen Ashley’s Chaos world, this is a chance to dip your toe in that water and get a feel for this series and these characters. It’s a chance to test the waters of this before diving in to read the whole series. Something, by the way, that I wholeheartedly recommend to every romance reader.

Wild Wind is the story of Jagger Black and Archie. Jagger is the son of an original member of the Chaos MC. His father was lauded the moral compass of the club, he was revered by all the members, and his murder hit both his family and the club hard. Jagger gets his first glimpse of Archie as teen while visiting his father’s grave. He makes eye contact and connects with a beautiful teenage girl who is at her mother’s funeral. So begins the slow-burn love story of A, the girl across the way, and J, the boy across the way.

Over the next decade, their paths cross on occasion. They’re young and they don’t quite grasp what it is that they’re feeling except to recognize that whatever it is, it’s powerful. When they finally mature enough to act, it’s at a time when Jagger needs to decide if he’s all in or out, because Archie is ready to either move on to exploring what’s been building between them or move on from it. With chemistry as hot as theirs, a connection between them like nothing he’s ever felt, Jagger is all in. I loved Archie, she was perfect for Jagger, exactly what he needed. I loved her quirky style, I love her spunky spirit, and I really loved how she knew down to her bones that Jagger was her person. She did not waiver, she did not back down, she simply waited for him to catch up. Once Jagger accepted what was happening, he truly was all in. He recognized that Archie was his person, and he got straight to work getting them on the same page and caught up.

For me, Wild Wind by Kristen Ashley was a chance to revisit a favorite series through a fresh story. As these 1,001 Dark Nights novellas do, It temporarily quenched a thirst—while simultaneously leaving me craving more. If you want to try out Ashley’s Chaos MC series before committing to it, this novella is a great place to start. If like me, you just want to take a trip back to the compound with some new material, here is your chance. But either way, know that you’re in for a captivating, page-turning, sexy love story full of all the alpha male awesomeness that is KA. Five smooches from me for Wild Wind by Kristen Ashley!
