Their past feelings may have a future—if only they can turn their island fantasies into something real…

From USA Today and Amazon Charts bestselling author Meghan Quinn comes a fun, sexy story about the family dynamics that can stand in the way of rekindling a romance.

Prepared for a good time, Tessa is thrilled to spend the weeks before her sister’s wedding at their family’s favorite vacation spot: Santorini. Sandy beaches, stonewashed houses, attractive men—it’s heaven.

But Tessa’s idea of a girls’ trip comes to a screaming halt when her sister thinks it’s high time Tessa finds some love herself. Unfortunately, Tessa forgot about the deal she made back in high school: she has to find her soulmate before her sister’s wedding. Or else.

As she dodges suitors and her sister’s pranks, Tessa finds an ally in the oh-so-dreamy Myles, her childhood crush who just so happens to work at the resort. But Myles is dealing with some family conflict of his own. He’s elated at being reunited with Tessa, but his father’s refusal to acknowledge his interest in the family business and relegating him to only grunt work casts a dark cloud.

As Tessa and Myles help navigate their way through their families’ antics, they begin to realize that their past feelings may have a future—if only they can turn their island fantasies into something real.

EXCERPT:

Hey.

I have a story to tell you.

A story of untapped love.

I know this might be an unconventional way of beginning an epic love affair, but sometimes we storytellers must break up our formulaic narratives. Don’t worry, though; you’ll get up close and personal with the main characters quickly.

But as the author, I need to lay the groundwork first because this story is different.

Ever heard of the Greek gods Zeus and Hera? Some might say theirs was a legendary love affair, and sure, if they weren’t siblings who married, maybe I would agree. But this love story I’m about to get into is greater than Zeus and Hera.

Greater than Hades and Persephone because it didn’t involve a kidnapping against a woman’s will, then dragging her to the fiery underworld, where she was forced to live with her pitiless husband and the souls of the dead.

And dare I say . . . greater than Poseidon and Amphitrite? Shape-shifting into a dolphin to convince the love of his life to spend eternity with him, not needed—although man-dolphin does have an odd appeal to it.

This couple were like Penelope and Odysseus. They didn’t need the fancy things like a sibling connection or a slippery porpoise to convince them they were meant to be. Yup, I said it.

Eternal love.

Long-distance romance.

Obstacles in their way.

Unwanted suitors knocking at Penelope’s door.

A bitch named Helen who is trying to ruin it all—technically the bitch isn’t named Helen in this book, but you get the idea.

This story clocks all the way back to 1999. Whoa, I know, ancient times, am I right? Word on the street is people suffered through dial-up internet back then. How they survived we’ll never know. But this is when our main characters, Tessa and Myles, saw each other for the very first time.

You see, Tessa lives in America: New York City, to be exact. She’s your run-of-the-mill wallflower with a heart for all things numbers—can you say data nerd? She has a relentless penchant for reading—fantasy lover, this one—and has spent her entire life supporting her twin sister’s endeavors, which includes assisting in the following: a run for class president (won), Little Miss Darling of New York (won), and multiple tries at holding the Guinness world record for bouncing on a pogo stick (never, ever beat the record, not even close).

And then there’s our hero, Myles. A Greek citizen, but quite the traveler, bouncing between America and Greece. A single child who’s been homeschooled his whole life, he’s full of worldly knowledge, has a deep desire for hummus, and has been improperly known as “the Bulge” by our heroine and her sister. His family owns Anissa’s Palace Beach Resort in Santorini, the same resort where Tessa’s family vacations every year.

Can you see where I’m going with this?

They’ve crossed paths more than once. Let me give you a quick-and-dirty breakdown.

In 1999, they were six, and this was the first sighting. Tessa was playing tag with her sister on the beach. Myles was collecting seashells for the mosaic coffee table project he was helping his mom with. Their eyes connected, the wind whipped around them, waves crashed, and . . . nothing happened. They moved on with their lives.

Then the summer of 2004 came along. Hormones started revving up, and even though they’d seen each other every summer, they’d never really thought about one another—until Tessa stepped out on the beach in a hot-pink one-piece bathing suit. Myles noticed her. Tessa noticed Myles. Hearts floated from their eyes and into the air. It was a sight to behold. And that, my friends, is when the crushes developed.

Summer of 2006, they had their first real interaction. Now, this is not to say they hadn’t been watching each other from a distance, but this was the first time they’d spoken to each other. It was a blustery day on the island of Santorini. An avid kite flier, Tessa was attempting to get her frog kite in the air, the very kite she brought with her every summer. As she was winding the kite string back up, a gust of wind knocked her straw hat off her head. Nimble, with catlike reflexes, Myles snatched the hat from the air before it could take off into the Aegean Sea. He held it out to her and said, “Your hat.” She blinked. She snatched. She ran.

Fast-forward to 2008, the year Tessa had food poisoning. Fresh from the plane, the family stopped by a quaint food truck on the side of the road on the way to the resort. Tessa settled for the chicken gyro, but the gyro didn’t settle well with Tessa. Bound to her room for half the trip, she ordered room service while her family was out enjoying the pool. A living zombie in a holey shirt—the only thing that offered her comfort—she answered the door to a bright-eyed Myles and a wheely cart. Our hero had started a new job, but little did he know, the woman of his dreams would be on the other side of the door, looking like she’d just survived a postapocalyptic attack. Naturally, Tessa was horrified, while Myles wheeled in her room service cart. “Nice day,” he said.

“I . . . I . . . I have to stay close to the toilet,” she replied. He smiled. She considered stuffing her head in a pillow.

And, of course, I would be remiss if I didn’t mention the day Tessa discovered . . . the bulge. It was the summer of 2013. A fresh twenty-one-year-old on the prowl for her next mixed cocktail, she was buzzed and gearing up for a dreamy day of reading, drinking, and enjoying the sea breeze. And then, Myles approached. Golden tan skin, muscles for days, in tight red swim trunks, he was a sight to behold. Tessa’s heart pittered. Tessa’s heart pattered. Tessa’s libido shot straight to the crystal-blue sky. And like she’d seen in many a movie, she was the woman on the lounger, lowering her sunglasses while the object of her affection walked in front of her. In that moment, Mother Nature chose to blow her biggest breath right at Myles’s crotch. Now, reader, I don’t want to sound crude, but it needs to be said . . . that gust of wind, the one aimed directly at Myles’s nether regions? It not only made his swim trunks conform to his crotch but defined his crotch. Length, girth, mass . . . some have said the earth shook that day. And when Myles turned to see Tessa, staring right at him, hunger in those twenty-one-year-old eyes, all he could do was say, “Hi.”

She replied with a lick of her lips and a drawn-out “Helllll-o to you.”

It went on like that for a few years—minor interactions, but no significant moments to further the monotonous, humdrum continuation of nothingness. Well, not until the kiss of 2015.

Yup . . . a kiss, but I’m not at liberty to tell you how it went down. I’m going to leave that up to Tessa and Myles.

Like I said, I’m just here to lay down the foundation, to let you know this journey between them has been going on for years. Their mutual crushes have been master classes in patience. And the moment they finally, and I mean finally, let each other know their feelings—well, reader, it’s one for the ages.

Are you ready? Are you comfortable? Are you mentally prepared for a whirlwind of embarrassment? Good.

Let’s start this off with present day . . .

EXCERPT:

“I can’t believe that half-dead vampire-werewolf woman gave you her necklace.” I laughed, pulling on the skull around her neck. We’d just gotten in the car after our jaunt through hell itself. Most of the cars had cleared out already since Ramsay had taken her time getting to know every person that scared the shit out of me.

She giggled sweetly. “I can’t believe how you screamed like a little girl the whole time we were in there. It was embarrassing as hell.”

I rolled my eyes. “Sure you can. You’re not surprised in the least. Besides, what happened to you protecting me?”

She laughed loudly this time. “You’re right. I knew you were going to practically piss your pants as soon as I saw the place. You didn’t let me down. It was even better than I expected.”

“Brat.” I booped her on the nose, noticing a little caramel stuck to the corner of her mouth from the candy apples we’d had after the haunted house.

And then I couldn’t notice anything else.

I zeroed in on it, my thumb moving to the sticky sweetness right there, my eyes following my thumb.

I always wiped it with my finger. “You have a little something,” I started, leaning closer.

I wanted to taste it.

I wanted to taste her.

In fact, there wasn’t a time that I couldn’t remember when I didn’t.

I could hear the whoosh of my own breath in my ears, the pounding of my heart in my chest. It was time. It was past fucking time.

The smile fell from her face slowly. She stared at me, wide-eyed, her breath coming fast, her lips slightly parted and I knew I had to take my shot. It was now or never.

Still, I leaned in slow. More than anything I didn’t want to scare her. I prayed she wanted this like I did, and God, I wanted it more than anything.

I inched forward until my forehead rested against hers, the tips of our noses brushing. My eyes squeezed closed, her sweet apple breath mingling with mine.

I didn’t know if this was heaven or hell. I’d never wanted anything as much as this. Just being this close to her felt so good it was almost painful.

I tipped my chin forward until my lips rested right at the side of her mouth.

She sucked in a sharp breath that made me pause. “Is this okay?” I whispered, my lips practically to hers, my head feeling like it was somewhere in the stars.

She barely had time to give me a small “Uh uh,” before my lips were right there, pressing at the corner of her mouth.

I stayed like that. My lips right at the seam of hers and sucked in a long breath, smelling all that was her, somehow trying to engrain this moment into my memory.

I wanted to remember this night tomorrow, and the next day and two years from now and then eventually when I was ninety-five years old. I didn’t want to forget a moment. Not the smell of freshly laundered sheets that was Ramsay.

Not the way her eyes were closed tightly or how she kept her hands pinned in her lap like she was afraid to use them.

I wanted to remember the first touch of my lips to hers for always. I wanted to go slow.

Unfortunately, my dick had other plans. It wanted more than a close-mouthed kiss in an old rinky-dink car in a field in the country.

And because I couldn’t help it and my dick demanded, I pulled back a little but only enough to open my mouth a little and suck. I gave a slow lick and caramel, sweet and salty, hit my tongue, but I hardly cared for the taste. It was her I craved.

One small kiss and I was already addicted. I moved my lips over hers, trying to take it slow. For fuck’s sake, I knew it was her first time.

So I coaxed her. I nibbled, I rubbed. I pressed tiny pecks across her cupid’s bow and right in the center of her plump bottom lip.

And just when I thought I should pull back and call it a night, she let out a tiny moan and those small hands that were in her lap were in my hair.

REVIEW:

Kendall Ryan kicks off her new Hart Brothers series with The Forever Formula, a second-chance, small-town romance. Raised by her grandfather in Kodiak Canyon, Rachel left behind her broken-hearted high school boyfriend, Noah, to pursue her education. Fast forward a dozen or so years, and a tragedy coupled with her life circumstances has Rachel returning to the only place that’s ever felt like home.

The Forever Formula was a light-hearted, feel-good, easy-reading contemporary romance that I devoured in a few hours. Full of heartwarming feels and a slow-burn romantic build-up, Ryan weaves genuine emotion into the story without filling the pages with angsty drama. I loved the charming small-town setting, and the endearing side characters added depth and interest to plot, forming a solid developmental foundation for this series. This was a great start to this new series from Ryan, and I’m looking forward to the rest of the Hart brothers’ stories. Four smooches from me for The Forever Formula by Kendall Ryan!

RELEASE BLITZ: The Voices are Back by Lani Lynn Vale

THE VOICES ARE BACK, a suspenseful new romance from Wall Street Journal and USA Today Bestselling Author, Lani Lynn Vale, is available now!

If only life was as perfect as my dreams…

Her: Just a word, yet one person came to mind.

Morrigan St. Pete.

The woman that’d been hounding my every step since the day she was born. From the moment we first comforted each other in the hospital, to the day that I left her to follow her dreams, I knew that she was my one.

Through marriage, divorce, and a prison sentence, I had low expectations when it came to her ever coming around to my way of life. What kind of woman wanted a man that’d been to prison, had a child that disliked him and everything he stood for, and had zero prospects in life?

But then she popped into my life again, and that feeling of suffocation slacked off for the first time since I let her go.

***

The first time I tried to come back to Aodhan, I found him married with a kid on the way.

The second time I tried, he was heading to jail.

As one would say, the third time is the charm, right? Wrong.

The third time, he was divorced, fresh from prison, had a kid, and was again with his ex-wife.

That was the final nail in my coffin. I decided to give up.

I would do anything and everything I could to avoid him. Hiding wasn’t beneath me.

I only wish he’d stuck with my plan, because the moment he sees me again, it’s like he’s seen the light. Avoiding him is impossible when he goes out of his way to insinuate himself into every aspect of my life.

If only life was as perfect as my dreams.

BLOG REVIEW TOUR WITH EXCERPT: The Rules of Dating My Best Friend’s Sister by Vi Keeland & Penelope Ward

THE RULES OF DATING MY BEST FRIEND’S SISTER, a new best friend’s sister contemporary romance from New York Times Bestselling Authors, Penelope Ward and Vi Keeland, is available now!

You know what they say…all good things must come to an end, right?

From New York Times bestselling authors Vi Keeland and Penelope Ward comes a new standalone romance.

Rule number one for dating your best friend’s sister: Don’t.
Just don’t do it.

Especially when your best friend is dead and the last thing he made you promise him was that you’d keep an eye on his little sister, but not too good of an eye.

As a musician whose longest committed relationship was six weeks, I, Holden Catalano, was the last guy on Earth who should’ve been messing around with Laney Ellison.

The super smart girl whom I affectionately dubbed Lala since childhood was always off limits.

Though that didn’t stop me from thinking about her over the years, especially those times when the two of us would sneak out onto the roof and talk for hours after my buddy fell asleep. It was innocent, but I’d always held a torch for her.

After Ryan passed away, I vowed to always protect Lala. That included protecting her—from me.

Now all grown up and a scientist, Lala needed a place to stay when she accepted a temporary research position in New York. I thought I did the right thing by offering her an apartment in the building I co-owned with my three friends.

Except having her close by reignited all of those old feelings.

And things started to get complicated.

Especially since she was engaged.

And especially since, lately, I’d noticed something more in her eyes. Desire.

Lala didn’t exactly look at me like the platonic brother figure I was trying so desperately to be, even though I wanted her more than I’d ever wanted anything.

Yet, I was being good—on my very best behavior.

But you know what they say…all good things must come to an end, right?

EXCERPT:

“What the hell?” He stood on the other side of the door. “Where’s the doorknob?”

I leaned down and spoke through the hole where the knob used to be.

“It’s in here with me. The lock jammed, and the knob came off in my hands when I tried to pull it open.”

“Alright. Give me a minute. I need to run next door to get a screwdriver.”

“I have one now! I picked it up after the beeping incident, so I wouldn’t need to bug you again. It’s in the top drawer in the kitchen!”

“Okay, great. Hang on.”

Two minutes later, the door popped open. It wasn’t until I saw Holden’s face that I remembered I was only wearing a tank top and underwear, sans bra.

He gulped and took a long look before turning his head. “Sorry. I didn’t realize you weren’t dressed.”

I wasn’t the only one scantily clad. Holden had on only a pair of boxer briefs, his beautiful tanned skin and carved six pack on full display for my eager eyes, yet again. I couldn’t stop myself from staring. Silence ticked by until Holden turned his head back, probably to see why I’d grown quiet. “You oka—”

My eyes rose to meet his, but not before he’d caught me ogling him.
I shook my head and laughed nervously. “I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to stare. I just hadn’t expected you to be in your underwear either, I guess. It caught me off guard.”

Holden ran a hand through his hair. “Yeah, I’m sorry if I checked you out, too.”

I should’ve just left the bathroom and covered up with a robe, but something about being near this man made me say and do things that were completely out of character. “Would you mind if I…looked a little more?”

Holden’s brows shot up to his hairline. “You want to check me out?”

My face heated. I shook my head and looked down. “Oh my gosh. I’m so embarrassed. I think the lack of sleep and stress from being locked in here made me a little bonkers. It’s just that maybe we both have some pent-up curiosity about what we look like as adults. I mean, I’ve only stolen glimpses of you without a shirt on since we were teenagers in my backyard pool. And you certainly haven’t seen me in a skimpy bottom and no bra since then. I guess I was thinking if we took a good, long look, once and for all, we might get it out of our systems.”

Holden stared at me. I could see the wheels in his head spinning. Eventually, his eyes dropped to my chest. “You have no bra on…”

I shook my head. “No bra.”

He swallowed. “Let’s do it.”

“Really?”

He nodded. “Fuck yeah. I’m going to hell anyway. Might as well enjoy the ride down. But you have to stay in the bathroom, and I’ll stay on this side of the doorway.”

“Okay.” I bit my bottom lip. “You look first.”

“Why don’t we look at the same time?”

I nodded. “Good idea. How long should we do it for?”

Holden shrugged. “A minute?”

“Do you have your phone?”

“No. I thought someone broke in and you were being attacked. My phone was the last thing on my mind.”

“Mine should be on the coffee table. Do you want to grab it so we can use the timer?”

Holden walked away and came back ten seconds later. “What’s your code?”

“Zero, seven, one, three.”

He started to type and then froze before looking up at the ceiling.

“That’s the day you’re getting married, isn’t it?”

I nodded.

Holden cursed as he went back to typing. “I’m so fucking going to hell.”

He called up the clock app and then turned the phone to show me. The countdown was set for one minute. His finger hovered over the green button. “You ready?”

I nodded.

Holden pressed the button, and we began to openly ogle each other.

He was mine once. But as of today, the only thing I’ll be calling Ford Ellis is Coach…

I’ve spent the better part of a decade forgetting Ford Ellis. If he had just stayed away from Montana, I might have erased the memory of his striking blue eyes and rugged smile forever. Avoiding him was easy when the only place I saw his face was on ESPN—and a remote control could fix that problem.

Except my boss just hired Ford as the new head coach for the Treasure State Wildcats. Not only will I be stuck watching him on the sidelines this season, but avoiding him will be impossible now that we’re working together.

Maybe I haven’t forgotten Ford. Maybe I still dream about what we might have been. Maybe he hasn’t forgotten me either.

Except those maybes won’t change the fact that we were never meant to be. Maybe he was mine once. But as of today, the only thing I’ll be calling Ford Ellis is Coach.

EXCERPT:

I walked to the door, turning the knob with an I’m sorry I suck as a best friend poised on the tip of my tongue. But it wasn’t Autumn on my front porch.

It was Ford.

And Joey.

“Hi.” His blue eyes danced as my jaw dropped.

“Hi, Millie.” Joey lifted up on her toes as she waved.

“H-hi. Uh . . . what are you doing here?” I infused my voice with false cheer and plastered on a fake smile—for Joey’s sake, not Ford’s.

“We’re going hiking,” he said.

“Did you get lost on the way to the mountains?” I pointed over his shoulder to the blue peaks in the distance. “They’re that way.”

Ford’s smile widened, flashing me those white teeth, and damn him, my instinct was to smile back.

Don’t smile. Do. Not. Smile.

Joey was smiling too. It was the adorable gap between her front teeth that broke my resolve.

The corner of my mouth turned up.

“Get some shoes,” Ford ordered.

My gaze dropped to my bare feet. I looked back up and glared. “Did you just order me around?”

“He does it to me all the time,” Joey muttered.

Ford chuckled.

A giggle escaped. “What is happening?”

“Hiking.” He snapped his fingers. “Let’s go, Mills.”

“Can I use your bathroom first?” Joey asked.

“Sure.” I stepped aside, waving her in. “Just go down the hallway on your right. It’s the first door.”

It was a mistake to step so far to the side. Because the moment Joey came in, Ford followed.

I didn’t have a massive house. My cottage was eighty years old, and though the previous owners had done a renovation, the rooms, albeit charming, were small.

With him inside, it might as well have been a dollhouse. His presence consumed every inch, charging it with the same electricity he brought into my office.

He was in a navy, sleeveless athletic shirt. His arms, ripped with muscle, were on full display. My gaze traced the lines of his biceps, the curves of his triceps down to his sinewed forearms. His black mesh shorts draped over the bulk of his thighs.

And the tattoos on his right arm, oh my God, the tattoos. Ford was so focused. So steady. The tattoos gave him a reckless, sexy edge.

I wiped the corner of my mouth. Yep, that was drool.

“Millicent.”

My face whipped up to his. While I’d been gawking, he’d closed the gap between us.

Ford leaned in, just an inch, like he was going to kiss me.

I put my hand in front of his face. “Do not kiss me again.”

There was a challenge in his eyes. I was so busy trying to make sense of it that I didn’t notice his hand shoot up to capture my wrist. His fingers were so long he wrapped it easily. Even when I tugged, he had me trapped.

With that smirk on his mouth, he pulled my hand toward his lips, turning it at the last second to place a chaste kiss on the inside of my wrist before loosening his hold.

I yanked my hand free and took a step away, my skin buzzing from the softness of his mouth. “You listen as well as a brick wall.”

REVIEW: Coach by Devney Perry

5 SMOOCHES!

* * * * * * * * * *

SYNOPSIS:

SYNOPSIS:

Devney Perry branches out into sports romances with Coach, the first book in her new Treasure State Wildcats series. Against a college football backdrop, Perry launches this series with a steamy and emotional second-chance, single father romance. Millie and Ford were best friends in college who both harbored secret crushes on each other but didn’t cross the line—until that one time… But then Ford took off, leaving Millie behind without a word. Ten years later, he returns to his alma mater as the new football coach and gets the surprise of a lifetime when he finds his old friend—and the only woman he’s ever loved—is one of his new co-workers.

Perry’s writing is always so beautifully crafted, and she has a talent for creating complex, relatable characters enveloped in poignant, heartfelt love stories. An unputdownable, heartwarming soul-mates love story with a dash of heartbreak and plenty of authentic emotion and smoking hot chemistry. The slow-burn build-up of Millie and Ford’s romance was sweet, steamy and addictive, and their journey is filled with ups and downs that kept me tapping my Kindle until the very end. I loved these characters, I adored Ford’s show-stealing daughter, Joey, and I was all-in and rooting for Millie and Ford from the from page one. Five smooches from me for Coach from Devney Perry!

EXCERPT:

He looks me in the eyes, intense and powerful. “I had a great time. I’m still having a great time. But if you’re ready for this night to be over, I’ll walk you back to the hotel. I’ll say goodnight in the lobby like a gentleman after I make sure you get safely in the elevator. But if you want to dance, then I want to take you to that club,” he says.

I’m thrilled and relieved at the same time. It’s not the end—it’s the start of the rest of the night. “I do want to go with you.”

“Good.” He inches closer, crowding me here on the sidewalk, the beach to one side, the South Beach scene to the other. He drops my wrist, his hand snaking around my waist instead. With him this close, I catch a hint of his cologne—he smells like fresh-cut wood and snow. Intoxicating. “But you need to know if we go dancing, I’m going to dance like a man who wants a woman. Close to you,” he adds, letting those words linger in the air between us like sweet smoke. “My hands on your soft arms, my chest pressed to your lovely back, my nose in your beautiful f&*king hair that I’ve been dying to inhale all night long.” His fingers travel lower, curving over the fabric of my dress covering my ass. “Is that how you’d like to dance with me?”

I can’t speak.

I have no words. I simply ache.

“Yes,” I whisper.

“Good. Then let’s go. But first…”

He reaches into his back pocket and takes out his phone. He slides open the screen, clicks on it, then shows it to me. It’s a text message to him from his mother. I hope you’re remembering to wear sunscreen, Nick.

I laugh, all the tension defused. My wariness vanished into the night. “Well, did you, Nick? Remember to wear sunscreen?”

With a twinkle in his eyes, the gorgeous, older man shakes his head as if he’s relishing his naughtiness. “I don’t always do the right thing.”

“But you said you’d walk me back to the hotel. That seems like the right thing,” I say, back to teasing.

“I’m not sure dancing with you like I want to f&*k you is the right thing. But I’m going to do it anyway.”

I blink.

This is true speechlessness.

Then he brushes his lips against the shell of my ear, whispering, “Be a good girl. Write back to her and tell her you’ll see her Sunday. Because later, you’re going to be very, very busy.”

Desire swoops down my body, pulses hot between my thighs.

I can’t wait to be very busy.

REVIEW:

The Tryst by Lauren Blakely is the second book in her Virgin Society series, and as such, virgins and their first time experiences are the foundational trope. I listened to the audiobook, which was narrated in dual POV by one of my favorite pairings, Teddy Hamilton and Vanessa Edwin. Teddy and Vanessa’s chemistry is natural, and they positively sizzled, delivering fantastically authentic and thoroughly engaging performances. The plot follows the journey of Layla, a successful young businesswoman and NY socialite, who meets the sexy, UK-based keynote speaker, Nick, at a conference in Miami, and as the title clearly states, engages in a titillating tryst. It isn’t until months later that she learns Nick is the father of her ex-boyfriend turned friend.

Blakely’s writing is always top-notch, and she skillfully weaved together a tale of love, lust and longing. The characters were well-developed, their emotions were raw and real, and I was completely caught-up in the steamy build-up of their relationship. The Tryst is a forbidden romance, so if that is your jam, Lauren’s spin on it—with an age-gap twist—will be right up your alley. As heart-tugging as it was heart-racing, Nick and Layla’s story was a captivating, seductive story that kept me hooked from start to finish. Five smooches from me for The Tryst by Lauren Blakely!
