Tell Me A Story was a sweet and seductive, brother’s best-friend sports romance, and I gobbled up every word of it like Sunday afternoon snacks. A charming, endearing and super steamy love story, Tell Me A Story was a forbidden romance page-turner. Brock was a very handsome and protective hero who was overcome by the instant chemistry he had with his best friend and teammate, Caleb’s, sister, Joey.

Everything about this romance had me swooning, from those first flirty glances to those romantic notes. I was rooting for this couple like a cheerleader on the sidelines from start-to-finish! Final Proposal is the third and final book in K. Bromberg’s S.I.N. series about the three incredibly handsome, alpha, billionaire, identical Sharpe triplets. A forced-proximity workplace romance, Final Proposal is Ford and Ellery’s story. Quintessential Kristy Bromberg from cover-to-cover, this story—this whole series, frankly—is precisely the type of story I hope for when I’m reaching for one of Kristy’s books. The will-they-or-won’t-they slow-burn build-up of their romance made this an absolutely addictive page-turner, and I loved every second of the chase. Another fantastic collaboration from Lauren Blakely and KD Casey! Perfectly in-sync, seamlessly transitioning between their individual writing styles, their pairing is exceptionally well-matched. I listened to the audio, and JF Harding and Evan Parker performances were fantastic, and they did a great job brining these characters to life in my ears.

Dirty Steal, a teammates-to-lovers M/M sports romance, was a super sexy novella featuring two baseball players who had a meet-cute kinda hookup. A few months later, the baseball trade gods stepped in to put them on the same team. A rookie shortstop on a losing team, Adam was bi-sexual, a little shy, freshly out of a MF relationship. Derek was the star shortstop on a winning team, he was totally out and completely comfortable with his sexuality, and he was definitely into Adam. Thanks to a well-meaning teammate, they find themselves in a bit of a forced proximity situation right upon Adam’s arrival in Seattle, and being that they’re new teammates, they decide they need to cool things off for the sake of the team despite the blazing heat between them.

I loved Derek and Adam. REVIEW:

Corinne Michaels’ Rose Canyon series is full of suspenseful, heart-string pulling stories. Give Me Love is the second book in the series, and it’s classic Corinne Michaels romance – a larger than life love story that she uses to emotionally shred her readers. Addictively full of feels, this small-town fake marriage, second-chance romance made my heart ache and race in all the best ways.

I’ve been waiting for Blakely and Emmett’s story since I finished Help Me Remember. There was a particularly memorable scene in that book that gave readers a sneak peek of this couple. I’ve been eager to dive into their story, but I don’t want to give too much away here. I think it’s best for readers to learn their history and experience their reconnection as it unfolds organically. Emmett, the town sheriff, is loyal, has a heart of gold and is adored by the whole community. Blakely was a strong, independent heroine, but she also had some baggage that she used her sass to hide. The chemistry between this couple was electric and obvious to everyone, but this was no simple second-chance romance. Emmett and Blakely had a lot to navigate to get to their happily ever after, though. Tumultuous emotions, palpable passion and an engrossing, suspenseful plot made this an unputdownable story.

Give Me Love was poignant and angsty, full of ups and downs and steamy romance. The twists and turns kept me glued to my kindle, and I devoured it in a day. I loved everything about Emmett and Blakely’s heartbreaking, heart-racing second-chance romance, and I can’t wait for the next book in the series! She looked beyond him and called, “Hey, Mom.”

Suddenly, Tom felt like he’d been punched in the chest, his breath not coming easy.

Dragging some in, he turned and saw Mika standing there.

She was wearing a kaftan dress with a low V at the neck, draping sleeves and a string through an empire waist that gathered the material. The print on a black background was mostly reds, oranges and pinks with bright accents of green and blue and turquoise. She had some flat, embroidered mules on her feet. And her still-golden hair was up in a messy knot on top of her head.

Even though she was dressed like she was hanging around the house, she wore makeup. Mostly neutral but with black cat’s-eye, drawing focus to her eyes and the startling sea-blue color of the iris. She had some delicate chain bracelets at her wrists and a number of piercings in her ears, with studs or small hoops running up the shell, and dangling beads coming from the lobe.

She looked the picture of what a poet, photographer, novelist, filmmaker would look like. An easy style that was not unique, but she made it that way.

She was also still one of the most attractive women he’d ever laid eyes on.

In fact, he’d go so far as saying she was in the top two, vying for number one.

“Tom,” she greeted.

“Mika,” he replied, and then was surprised yet again in his short visit to her home.

He saw a soft pink rise in her cheeks, the kind a woman got when she felt nervous or didn’t know what to do with flattery, something he hadn’t offered, unless she caught it in his gaze.

She looked to her daughter and ordered, “Scram, kid.”
