This is the story of Ava and Joel. As much as the main story is about Ava and Joel we do also get introduced to many other people who play major parts in these two characters lives. Ava and Joel use to be together as they are all part of the same group of friends, Joel came into the group as a friend of another. Ava has tried for the last 8 years to get over the way that she feels for Joel and it seemed that she was doing alright. We she thought she was until it’s mentioned that Joel will be coming home from New York.

Joel and Ava had a secret relationship, much to Joel’s annoyance. Joel wanted them to open with their friends and take the relationship that they had out of the shadows. Ava had many insecurities and couldn’t get the confidence needed to do this, a few other things happened and he moved away. But 8 years and he is back.

Ava tries to move on from him, she goes on dates, even brings one to meet friends. But is she being fair to herself? Or being fair to Joel? Throughout the book we get to look at the past with these two, we find out what happened, what went wrong and where feelings were hurt. You can’t help but feel for both Ava and Joel when you read about their joint pasts.

This book becomes more about getting the other to admit there is still something there even after all this time. Ava tries to make Joel jealous on a few occasions as she wants a reaction from him, and Joel just wants Ava to finally admit what she wants.

This was a really good read and I enjoyed it, although I felt that the reasons for the 8 year separation were a little bit over played. It seemed to me if they talked about it properly they would have resolved the issue sooner. But that is just my opinion. I will read more book from Louise Bay so i can read about all the other characters that i fell in love with in this book.

Whew. I feel like I just got out of a dark movie theater after watching a seriously intense show. I mean, WOW. There are so many things that happen in this 5th installment in the Blood and Roses series from Callie Hart, that I am…shocked. This story is not just Zeth and Sloane. This story has so many levels, with so many players that it leaves your head spinning, in the most desirable way. Personally, I love books that leave you reeling, keep you guessing, make you gobble up the words in one afternoon. This series has always been that way for me, but this installment, it knocked me off my feet. Let’s break it down a bit. Zeth and Sloane are running from the DEA, with the help of Michael, Zeth’s right-hand man. Alright, that’s about where everything goes to shit. Sloane and Lacey are left alone, this doesn’t bode well. Sloane gets hurt, which only lights the fire within Zeth to epic proportions. Oh, right, there is a run-in with Julio, your friendly neighborhood drug lord and Mr. Psycho himself, Charlie. Lacey is having a hard time after confessing to Sloane what has her so messed up. Yes that’s right, you get to hear the sordid details which will only make your blood boil and Sloane is trying to keep everyone together, as a team. She has now come to grips with the fact that she has chosen Zeth, has chosen Lacey, has chosen the danger over the white picket fence. This is what she wants. Of course, she needs everyone to be safe, but she is not stupid enough to think that life with Zeth will be peachy. It will be filled with sadness, and heartache, and worry. A lot of worry. It’s what she wants though. Now explaining that to Zeth is going to be difficult. You can only imagine. He is a very difficult man when it comes to realizing his own feelings. He just flat out refuses to do it. But right from the get go, in the seriously steamy opening scene, he is starting to realize that he needs her. He needs Sloane.

There are so many tangents that this amazing story can go in. And will, I have no doubt. Reading about them is addicting. Seeing the cover on my Kindle is like a rush of excitement. I am never disappointed when I open it up and jump into the fray with Zeth and Sloane. It’s seriously a great way to spend the afternoon.

OMG WOW! This second installment in the Indiscretion Serial by Elisabeth Grace has hooked me so hard on to this series and author! I really enjoyed the first volume but I could not put down the second! This had everything I look for in an erotic serial, it was HOT, had amazing character development and a story line that has me dying for more!

“I wanted to feel alive, to live in the moment. And I knew beyond a doubt that Max was the one to make it happen.”

All though this volume I found myself rooting for Max and Chloe! I just needed them together and I really thought for a while there that it was easily going to happen! But you know that all good serials have to leave you desperate for more and oh boy does it! I NEED to know how their story will grow and eventually end.

“God, I was swooning. Seriously, who actually swooned? Girls who aren’t keeping themselves in check, that’s who.”

Indiscretion Volume Two is both witty and well written. I was able to fully drown myself in the lives of Chloe and Max and I loved every second of it. There is something about n author who has the skill of writing characters who are both serious and witty. I love a well developed character and Elisabeth does this so well!

Let me just say that this series as a whole an especially this volume is sooo HOT! I mean you might need a clean pair of panties HOT! So just be prepared! For just 99 cents each this is a series you don’t want to miss!
