Synopsis

Welcome to the sexy, crazy, wildly unpredictable world of modern matchmaking, where fixing up strangers is part of the job—but falling in love is an occupational hazard…

He’s The Perfect Catch.

Blake Donovan is tall, handsome, rich, and successful—so why would a guy like him need a matchmaker? Andrea Dawson has no idea, but a job is a job. After being blackballed from a career in marketing, Andrea agreed to use her unique profiling skills to play matchmaker out of pure desperation. But when she meets her highly eligible—and particular—first client face to face, she wonders what she’s gotten herself into…

Is She His Perfect Match?

Blake knows exactly the kind of woman he’s looking for—and it’s the total opposite of Andrea. Though smart and undeniably sexy, she is simply too headstrong for a man who’s used to being in charge. Still, Blake’s blood pressure rises whenever she’s near him. How can he explain the smoldering attraction that sizzles between them? And how can Andrea deny she’s feeling it, too? Maybe, just maybe, they’ve finally met their match…

Review

OK, I want to be completely honest.  I read the synopsis for this book and I was less than thrilled.  It just did not sound that great to me.  It felt like it had been done before and I am finding myself kind of sick of sexy rich men.  But this book, totally smacked me in the face and was all like “You are wrong, Amie.  I am awesome, amazing, sexy, and totally hilarious.”  And that it was.  I loved this book.  I loved Blake and Andrea.  I loved their fights, their hysterics, and their attraction.

Andrea has a special talent.  She is fabulous at reading people, what their talents are, their weaknesses, what kind of people they are in general.  And she is looking for a job and it is imperative that she find one asap.  Her sister sets her up for an interview that changes her life forever.

Blake Donovan is looking for a wife.  Preferably submissive, bone thin, and a home maker.  Andrea has agreed to help him find one.  Meet Miss Matchmaker.

Andrea and Blake were just so ridiculous.  They made me laugh non stop.  Blake was not your typical rich alpha.  He is quirky and different and kind of shy and reserved in the sweetest of ways.  Andrea was kind of goofball, outgoing, and curvy.  Pretty much everything that Blake does not want in a wife.  Then why does he find himself so incredibly attracted to her?

There were a million things that I liked about this book but the sexual tension had to be the very best of all of these.  You can just feel it building and you keep waiting and waiting and when they finally take things further it pays off in such a big way.  I do love a good romance novel that can give you plenty of sexual tension and this one delivers in a big way.  I also thought the writing was especially good.  It was witty, sexy, and the story itself was spectacular.  I found myself laughing out loud on multiple occasions at these two ridiculous people denying their attraction to one another.  Just a fabulous book!   I really cannot wait for more from these two authors!
