SYNOPSIS:

Hideaway Heart by Melanie Harlow is the second book in her Cherry Tree Harbor series. Harlow flawlessly weaves together the bodyguard-falls-for-the-celebrity storyline with the cozy charm of a small-town setting. Her masterful storytelling brings to life an endearing cast of characters. As the sparks fly between the strong, protective bodyguard and the charismatic country star seeking a break from the grind of her celebrity, Kelly and Xander begin a journey filled with humor, heart and sizzling chemistry. The forced proximity, single bed situation created an electric dynamic between them and ramped up their emotional rollercoaster, keeping me hooked from start to finish.
Melanie Harlow delivered a captivating romance in Hideaway Heart that was charming, steamy and emotionally satisfying. The small-town backdrop adds a layer of authenticity to the story, and I was as invested in the community and as I was the characters’ lives. Harlow’s storytelling flows effortlessly, and she seamlessly blends heart-tugging moments with humorous ones. A perfect mix of witty banter, tender moments, sexy romance and a dash of suspense, Hideaway Heart was an engaging, unputdownable page-turner that kept me smiling the whole way through.
