Lila Monroe had me laughing, swooning, and eagerly tapping my Kindle as I devoured her latest romantic comedy, The Tropical Romance Test. Set against the backdrop of a tropical island paradise, this romcom kicks off with an unforgettable meet-cute and delivers all the push-and-pull of the rivals-to-lovers trope. Monroe’s sharp wit and sparkling prose bring the characters to life, from the feisty heroine to the charming yet infuriating hero, creating a dynamic and irresistibly entertaining story.
The banter between Josh and Hazel positively crackles with chemistry, and their journey from adversaries to something more is both hilarious and heartwarming.
