Synopsis

Naomi Porter was once witty, fun, and outgoing, but she has scratched outgoing off the list, along with men. She has a mediocre tech job in fabulous New York, a large smut book collection, and awesome friends, both tangible and in an online gaming community. She just doesn’t date. A future filled with cats and housedresses beats having her heart broken again.

But Naomi still likes men, even kind of stalks—mostly fantasizes about—a gorgeous one at work during lunch.

Her best friend, Kara, is determined that Naomi will be outgoing again. When Kara finds out who, as in a notorious playboy, Naomi is stalking at lunch, she plans to break Naomi of her lunchtime habit and bring her back into the real world. It’s just going to take a bit of deception.

Between all the deceiving, fangirling, and bumbling, Naomi might not be able to resist the temptation of turning her seven-month fantasy into reality. And really, so what if he’s a playboy or a demanding jerk? Her fantasies don’t include love or even like, just a bed or a couch or the back seat of a limo…

Reality might be just what she needs.

*A sexy romantic comedy intended for audiences 18+

Review

“After work, I’d head home for some online gaming. Oh, the excitement of my life.”

I was extremely excited to start reading Reality of You. I am a huge Jean Haus fan after reading her New Adult series Luminescent Juliet and I knew that I would love this new romantic comedy too just from the blurb. This book was a fun and refreshing read. I cannot wait to read more books from Jean in this genre in the future.

“Had I known you were running a sweatshop I would never have taken this job.”

Reality of You focuses on Naomi Porter, who has given up men after being burned too many times. Naomi prefers to just sit back and drool over the man she is lusting over in the safety of her workplace lobby rather than actually engage in any kind of a relationship with a man. When one of her friends arranges for her to work as the sexy man’s (Reese) secretary in a tropical location for a week it seems like a good excuse to lust up close. What she encounters instead is the very demanding and critical boss from HELL! By the time the week is winding down she is sure that lusting at a distance is a much better option.

“Too demanding?” “At least at work,” I squeaked under the spell of those warm eyes. He smiled, slow and sensual. “I can be demanding in other places too.”

Once they are back home and she is no longer employed by him Reese seems to start actively pursuing her. Naomi can’t figure out why this sex on a stick man is coming after her but knowing his track record of not staying with a woman for more than three weeks she decides to throw caution to the wind and go with it. The big question here is which one is better,  the fantasy of this man she has been watching for seven months or the actual reality of him.

“We were moving fast, fast, fast. And I liked, liked, liked.”

This book was so much fun. Reese as a demanding asshole of a boss was hilarious because I never knew what he would say to her next and Naomi was a comedy of errors giving him plenty of reasons to make sarcastic comments. Once  they got together the book took a super sexy turn, Oh my my! I love Jean’s writing as always she grabbed me from the first page and wrote a exciting story that I just could not stop reading. I really hope that Jean plans to write more in this genre soon because I really enjoyed this fast and fun read!

Under Contract by Jacquelyn Ayres Cover Reveal

Book: Under Contract
Author: Jacquelyn Ayres
Genre: Erotic Romance/Erotic Humor

Charlotte McKendrick is your typical thirty-something stay-at-home mom. She has three beautiful children, a loving family, special friends, and the most wonderful, adoring husband. Her life is a dream.Er . . . let’s try this again.Charlotte McKendrick is not your typical thirty-something stay-at-home mom. Yes, she’s got three beautiful children, a loving family (all of them lingerers—you’ll see), and her friends are special, all right! As far as her wonderful, adoring husband, what a joke! That bastard abandoned her and the kids six months ago.

Now, she will do anything she can to survive and provide for her children. Even if it means signing on the dotted line . . .

Mitch Colton is the CEO of Colton Technologies. Most of his year is spent traveling around the world, bringing companies the latest innovations in automobile technology. He doesn’t have time for a traditional relationship and the BS that comes with it. He doesn’t do the “marriage” thing, the “kid” thing, and he certainly doesn’t do the “falling in love” thing. All that said, he still wants someone to come home to. Someone who will offer everything he wants, and nothing he doesn’t. He realizes loyalty paired with these kinds of demands won’t come cheap. No problem. What he doesn’t realize is that once Charlotte McKendrick signs that dotted line, he’ll be paying with a lot more than money.

I am a Domestic Engineer (born and raised in NJ) whose sole responsibility is to guide three young impressionable kids into becoming phenomenal adults. This challenging, yet rewarding work requires a lot of love (coffee), patience (wine) and determination (periodic exorcisms). I work all of this magic in the beautiful state of New Hampshire. Before becoming a Domestic Goddess (not really), I spent over a decade working in the medical field where I wore more hats than the Queen.I have had a love for the written word and the great escape it provides since I was a little girl. When I wasn’t reading about people and the places they lived, I was creating my own characters and adventures. Finally, I have been putting a pen to paper allowing my characters to come to life. When I don’t have a pen and paper in hand, you can often find me laughing at the conversations my characters are having in my head.

They have made great leaps and bounds in their relationship, but Becca can’t help but feel he is still keeping something from her. Between the local detective snooping around and asking questions at the Conklin building and Tyler’s evasive answers, Becca remains skeptical about his excuses. Even though the detective seems more interested in RJ’s “projects”, Tyler’s hands seem to be in the pot as well.
Unfortunately, Tyler’s past comes back in his face along with his shady business. Will Becca hold true to her new found confidence and claim what’s hers… including Tyler?

Review

Book 2 picks up where book 1 leaves off. Tyler and Becca are trying to make a go of their relationship. They are definitely in love. I’m completely smitten with Tyler. He’s all that and a bag of Godiva Chocolate, and maybe some ice cream too. He’s sweet, sexy, hot, possessive, protective and head over heels in love with Becca, and thinks she perfect and beautiful and tells her as often as possible, which of course she needs because her self esteem is complete crap.

Tyler’s brothers are the BOMB!! love Nathan and Mitch. Kind of hoping they get their own books in a spin off or something. His parents, well, they need some work but its his father that’s the jerk not the mother. I feel bad for his mother. Not loving Margo either, BUT …. I really don’t want to give anything away so you will have to read for yourself why. Becca’s family is pretty awesome and completely throws Tyler off because he isn’t used to so much love and affection because his family isn’t that way at all.

This book has the potential to be a 5, but the grammar leaves a lot to be desired in this one. Book one was written pretty well, but this one could really use an editing. Too many extra words in a sentence or grammatical errors, (past tense for present, wrong word used such as either instead if neither etc) if the grammar was a bit better this would have nailed a 5 for me because I really love the story and I adore Tyler and Becca. The ending totally leaves you hanging, CLIFFY ALERT !!!! But good news !!!!! There is a book 3 .. .yaaaay !! I cant wait to see how this all plays out. I need my HEA and I’m really hoping I get one in book 3. Tyler and Becca really need to be together forever. They are an awesome couple!

I would definitely recommend this book and I cant wait for book 3

Review

I have been a Back-Up Series fan since I first met Jack and Leila. I feel like I have grown with them and have loved seeing them through this journey to find their own happiness. Encore was a great addition to the Back-Up family and really left me wanting more of this group. As always I both the writing and the story were great and I really look forward to reading more books in this series!

en

I really enjoyed the fact that this book was told from multiple POVs. Not only did it give me great insight into this group but layed the perfect groundwork for future books to come. I am weary about going to deep into this book for fear of giving too much away. If you are reading Encore then by now you should have read Back Up and Front and Center and have probably developed a connection to these great characters. You are going to love to discover all the answers to the questions that have been brewing since the beginning and so much more. As always A.M did a fabulous job of wrapping me up in her world and making me really feel like I was right there along with all the characters I have grown to love. I especially loved getting Evan’s and Lori’s points of view. For me that brought a whole new element to an already great story. I was very much wrapped up in this book and loved every minute of it!

BOOK SUMMARY (Not the official blurb) :

Blair Walton isn’t your average tattooed children’s librarian. She’s also one half of bestselling romance author, Scarlet Rose. Along with her bff Raine, she spends her nights writing books so steamy, she’s afraid they would shock her Southern conservative grandmother to death, if she knew about them. Blair and Raine keep their smut peddling ways a secret from everyone, including family.

On deadline for their latest book and out of ideas, Raine suggests (demands) that Blair find a guy and “do some research.” It just so happens that Blair has a guy that’s ready and willing. Declan Bennet has all the qualifications: He’s British, looks fabulous in a suit and gets bonus points for being a single dad. But what started out as a research project quickly turns into something much more. Someone else is writing this love story and Blair has completely lost control. But will Declan still feel the same way when he finds out the truth about Blair and her secret motives?

Chapter One

Contains adult language

“What’s another word for ‘pussy’?” Raine said, squinting at me over her laptop. I looked up from mine and thought for a moment.

“What’s the context?”

Her not-quite-blue-not-quite-grey eyes went back to her screen.

“He’s licking it.”

“Her pussy?”

“Yeah, but I’ve already used that word, like, a million times.” I sighed and saved the chapter I was currently working on.

“Send it to me.”

Her fingers clacked on her keyboard and then my email dinged. I ignored the massive amounts of unread mail in my inbox, including several fan letters (which I felt horrible about ignoring) and opened the document.

My eyes did a quick scan as Raine stared at her computer, a frown on her face. I deleted a few of her uses of the word and tweaked the phrasing.

“Okay, sending back.”

It seemed odd, seeing as how our laptops were practically touching on our shared desk. I reached for my coffee cup, tried to take a sip and found it empty.

“Damn. I’m out. Want a refill?” Raine handed me her cup without taking her eyes off the screen. It was nearly one in the morning, but we had a deadline next week, and we hadn’t missed one yet and had no intention to start.

I tried to remember the last time I’d made a pot of coffee, and couldn’t, so I tossed whatever was in the coffeepot and starting making a fresh pot.

“You know, we really should get one of those Keurigs. You know it would be a tax write-off. And it’s not like we can’t afford it.”

Raine just made a non-committal sound.

I was always the one who had to make the first move. When the two of us had met as TAs in the English department at college, I’d been the one who’d had the crazy idea of writing a romance together under a pen name and trying to get it published.

The two of us had spent the hours we were supposed to be doing keg stands and getting STDs typing away. It took us two years to write our first book, and most of it was spent trying to figure out how to combine our brains into one story. And then, by some miracle, we’d actually gotten an agent to take us seriously, and then a publisher and here we were, three years after getting our first book deal, with five books under our collective belt, three of them bestsellers under the name Scarlet Rose (Scarlet for my middle name, Rose for Raine’s mother).

“Ugh, I can’t look at this anymore, or I’m going to set it on fire,” Raine said, rubbing her eyes and getting to her feet and stretching her back.

“I know the feeling,” I said, hoping that by staring at the coffeemaker, it would somehow brew faster.

“We are never going to make this deadline.”

I turned and gave her a look.

“You always say that and we always meet them. Look, let’s take a half hour break to recharge and then we can marathon until four. Okay?” That would only give me a few hours of sleep, but I’d functioned on much less.

That was the price you paid for being a secret writer.

Raine came over and put her chin on my shoulder.

“Why did we sign this contract again?” I sighed for what felt like the millionth time that day.

“Because the money was good and we can’t say no to Marilyn.”

“I’m still terrified of her.”

“You wouldn’t be human if you weren’t,” I said as the coffee finally started to pour into the pot. Marilyn, our editor, was one of the scariest women I’d ever met. Initially, she seemed sweet and nice. But she was deadly with a red pen and she had an uncanny ability to read people. Her hair was always curled, her shoes were always spiked heels and her lipstick was always cherry red. She was beautiful in the way that a sharpened blade was beautiful.

I poured coffee into both our cups, adding lots of sugar to mine, and lots of powdered creamer to Raine’s.

“I’m calling out tomorrow. There’s just no way I can put up with morons after all this.”

“I wish I could. Sabrina’s on vacation, so I’m shit out of luck.” I worked in the Children’s department of our small local library and Raine was a bank teller. Totally glamorous jobs they were not.

Raine kissed one of the tattoos on my shoulder and picked up her coffee cup. My arms were both covered in ink and I had several others on my chest, back, legs and feet. My mother was convinced I got them to spite her, but really none of them had anything to do with her.

“Blaiiirrrrrr,” she whined, shuffling back to the desk. “I don’t wanna write any more.”

“Too bad, kiddo. We have a deadline.” They say you never really know the measure of a person until you live with them, but I think you never really know it until you try to write a book with them.

“Drink your coffee, babe. It will make you feel better.” She did as I asked, and sat on the couch. I turned on the television and went through our saved shows. We had the latest episode of New Girl on there, which would be perfect for a half hour of wasting time before we had to go back to work.

I snuggled next to Raine and before I knew it, my eyes were closing.

****

“Blair!” A voice pierced my eardrums and then something smacked my arm. My eyes flew open to realize that the living room was filling with the weak light of predawn.

“We both fell asleep,” Raine said, yawning and stretching. I’d fallen asleep tucked into her side.

“Shit, what time is it?”

“Nearly six.”

“Shit, shit, shit.” I stumbled to my feet and grabbed my coffee cup, intending to throw it in the microwave.

“Words. We have to make words,” I said, but Raine’s eyes had closed again.

“No words. Sleep.”

I had two options. I could go back to sleep for a little while, or I could force myself to stay awake.

Normally I would do the second, but I was so beyond tired that I knew if I didn’t get at least a little more sleep, I was going to pass out on the copier at the library. Again.

“Bed. Going to bed.” Raine didn’t answer.

I stumbled toward my bed and fell face first on it, and was out until my alarm rang again at seven thirty.

****

“And they lived happily ever after,” I said for what felt like the ten thousandth time in my life. I closed the book and looked out at the faces that stared at me with rapt attention. I had a good turnout for the toddler story hour, and everyone had been on their best behavior. I stifled a yawn behind the book and got up from my rocking chair.

“Thank you everyone for coming. We’ll see you next week.” Then we sang “The Goodbye Song” and each kid gave me a hug. More often than not, at least one little bugger would wipe their nose on my shoulder. I must have an immune system of steel because I rarely got sick.

As the tots were collected by their frazzled parents and taken off for naps or snacks, I went to re-shelve the books I’d used.

The children’s room at the Sullivan Library was decorated to look like the pages of Where The Wild Things Are, complete with the monsters and Max in his costume. There was even a little jungle nook with plastic vines hanging down. I loved it here and I couldn’t believe I’d managed to get this job right out of college.

I’d worried that my appearance would hinder my chances, and undo the good of getting my Master’s in Library Science and my summer internship with the Library of Congress.

But Madeline, the head librarian, had taken one look at my resumé, then me, smiled, and said I was hired. I’d been working here ever since.

They had no idea about what I did at night with Raine. I gave no explanation for the fact that I often appeared weary, and constantly covered up my dark circles with makeup.

The most ironic part was that the library carried my books. Mine and Raine’s. Sometimes the other librarians would ask me if I’d read them and I always said no.

I did various chores around the room, picking up some of the toys, re-shelving books that had been scattered around by little fingers, and checking them to make sure none had snot on them. Anti-bacterial wipes were my friend.

Focused on my tasks, I almost didn’t hear the tiny voice, humming in a corner. I peered between two of the shelves and found a little boy wearing an outfit nice enough for family pictures. His hair was so blond it was almost white, and gelled back from his face to show his bright blue eyes. A quick glance around showed that he was sans parent.

“Hey there,” I said, using my soft library voice. I’d honed it over the past few years of working with kids.

“Shhh,” he said, putting a finger to his lips. He looked about three or four, I’d guess. I got closer and I saw that he even had little dress shoes on. Poor kid.

“Okay, I can be quiet,” I said, sitting down next to him, folding my dress under me. “I’m Blair, what’s your name?”

“I, Drake,” he said in a whisper that wasn’t a whisper. This kid was adorable.

“Hi, Drake. It’s so nice to meet you. Are you here all by yourself?” We’d had more than one child go missing, hidden in between the stacks. I kept expecting his frazzled mother to come around the corner and sigh in relief before yelling at him not to run off.

“Yup. I big boy.”

“You are a big boy. You’ve even got your big boy clothes on. Did you pick those out yourself?” He was about to answer when I heard footsteps and a woman, looking frantic, emerged around the corner.

“Drake!” she said, nearly falling over in relief. I wondered if this woman was his mother, because where he was fair as could be, she had silky black hair, dark eyes and gorgeous tan skin. Drake didn’t look pleased to be found.

“Thank you for finding him,” the woman said as I stood up to let her collect him.

“No, I don’t wanna!” Drake said.

“But we’re going to meet your daddy. Don’t you want to see Daddy?” At the mention of seeing his father, Drake’s eyes lit up and he grinned.

“Daddy!”

“That’s right, we’re going to see him.” She leaned down and picked him up. She was tiny, but had the body of a woman who had probably run a marathon or two. She was also dressed just as well as Drake, with a black skirt, white ruffled top and gorgeous heels. I looked down at my cute-but-sensible red ballet flats and sighed. I never got to wear sexy shoes like that at work.

“Bye, Drake. Come and see me again and I’ll help you choose a book,” I said, waving at him as the woman carried him to the door.

“Bye-bye, Blair!” he called in his sweet little voice.

Neanderthal Marries Human by Penny Reid Review

5 SMOOCHES

kis4kis3kis2kis1kis

Synopsis

There are three things you should know about Quinn Sullivan: 1) He is madly in love with Janie Morris, 2) He’s not above playing dirty to get what (or who) he wants, and 3) He doesn’t know how to knit.

After just five months of dating Janie, Quinn—former Wendell and unapologetic autocrat—is ready to propose marriage. In fact, he’s more than ready. If it were up to Quinn, he would efficiently propose, marry, and beget Janie with child all in the same day—thereby avoiding the drama and angst that accompanies the four stages of pre-matrimony: engagement, meeting the parents, bachelor/bachelorette party, and overblown, superfluous wedding day traditions. But Janie, much to Quinn’s dismay, tosses a wrench in his efficacious endeavors and challenges him to prove his devotion by going through the matrimonial motions, no matter how minute and mundane.

Will Quinn last until the wedding day? Or will he yield to his tyrant impulses?

Regardless, one thing is for certain, Quinn Sullivan will have to learn to expect the Spanish Inquisition (i.e. the unexpected) if he plans to have and keep Janie Morris as his wife.

This book is not a standalone. It is the sequel to ‘Neanderthal Seeks Human,’ it is book #1.5 in the ‘Knitting in the City’ series, and it is a full length, 100k word novel.

Again, you must read ‘Neanderthal Seeks Human’ first before reading this book.

This book is written in first person, alternating POV (Janie Morris AND Quinn Sullivan; but more Janie than Quinn).

Review

” Admittedly, I’d never successfully navigated the labyrinth know as the labia, never mind the confounding clitoris.”

It should be no secret by now that I am a mega fan of all of Penny Reid’s books. I have read and loved them all. They are the kind of books you can read over and over again and you will always find something new and hilarious. Her material never seems to get old or outdated because what it all boils down to is something timeless, relationships. Relationships amongst friends, co-workers and lovers. These are topics that will always be exciting and Penny Reid is one of the best romance writers at giving you a witty insight into the minds of those in these crazy relationships.

“Wait . . . that sounded bad.” “You drive me crazy.” He said, then added, “In the best possible way.”

Neanderthal Marries Human picks up shortly after where Neanderthal Seeks Human ended and revolves in a close time period around when Friends Without Benefits took place. Quinn is ready to propose and marry Janie and their work trip to England lays the perfect backdrop for this. This book is full of proposal, wedding planning, and dealing with the kooky friends hilarity!  But there are still many tough unanswered questions that Janie and Quinn need to resolve before they can take this big jump. Can Quinn come clean about what it is he does?  Can Janie get past her relationship insecurities? And how much of a role will panty dance parties play in their lives.?

As much as I love Janie and Quinn the true stars of this and all the books is the knitting group. When these girls all get together I know I am going to have awful stomach cramps from laughing so hard. But more than just providing another form of humor the women in Janie’s life are an amazing support group and make me long for a close KNIT (lol) group of girls who I know will always have my back. Each of their personalities brings something amazing and unique to the story and I am desperate for more! (PENNY IF YOU ARE READING THIS REVIEW STOP – STOP RIGHT NOW – AND GO WRITE ME MORE LMAO.)

This story, much like all of Penny’s, is a breath of fresh air. If you are looking for a book full of graphic sex that constantly pushing the vulgar boundaries than look elsewhere. But if you are looking for an extremely well written, witty, sensual without being graphic book full of amazingly crazy catchphrases and innuendos then this book might just be for you! I like to talk about how funny and witty Penny’s writing is because I know so many authors who write good angst and sex but not near as many who can write humor while staying on topic and deliver an amazing story full of love, drama and powerful relationships. These characters are ones you can relate to while also fantasize about. I mean Quinn . . . really! I need a Quinn! I want a Quinn! Someone please give me a Quinn! Once again I want to congratulate Penny on delivering an amazing book and I cannot wait to devour the next one!

“I love you Quinn Sullivan. You are precious to me and I will love you always. And if I die before you, I plan to haunt you.”

Synopsis

Dorothy Kelley is a born romantic, searching for her prince. Instead she finds herself pregnant at fifteen, and a in a loveless marriage by the tender age of eighteen.

Then hope comes riding into her life on a motorcycle and within weeks, Jason “Jase” Brady, a member of the Hell’s Horsemen motorcycle club, sweeps Dorothy off her feet.

But nothing is ever simple for Dorothy. Jase is married with children. And as Dorothy patiently waits for Jase to give her the happily-ever-after she’s been dreaming about, James “Hawk” Young, a member of the Hell’s Horsemen with secrets of his own, sees an opening into Dorothy’s life and takes it.

Carrying on two secret affairs is no easy feat. As Dorothy tries to dig herself out of the mess she’s created, covering one mistake with another, tragedy strikes, nearly costing Dorothy her life and that of her unborn son.

What follows is a long and painful journey of self-discovery and forgiveness, as Dorothy comes to realize that home was exactly where she’d left it, and the love she’d forever craved had always been within her reach.

This is the story of Dorothy, Jase, and Hawk.

We are all born pure; it is our journey that burdens us and leads us astray. Our mistakes that beat us down and cover us in guilt and shame, burying us a little more with each passing hardship. It is up to us to dig ourselves out, to come to terms with our faults, to embrace not only our imperfections but those of the ones we love, and to once again find the path we strayed from.

Warning: This is not a conventional or predictable love story. It involves one woman and two men bound by a love so destructive it spans two decades, pitting brother against brother, and shattering the lives of those touched by it.

Review

“I wanted butterflies, holding hands, stolen kisses in the backseat of a car, late-night phone calls, all of it.  The anxiety, the desperation, the beautiful, agonizing ache called love.”

Dorothy had fairy tale dreams.  Not the career or college bound kind of dreams, but happily-ever-after dreams.  Things didn’t go that way for Dorothy.  What she got was an unplanned pregnancy, a loveless marriage, and the love of two hell raising motorcycle men, Jase and Hawk.

Unbeloved is their story and it is the fourth book of the Undeniable Series by Madeline Sheehan.

I should start by saying that no one, and I mean NO ONE, writes a prologue like Madeline Sheehan.  There are a ton of authors out there that write beautiful epilogues but it is a rare find when an author steals your heart the moment you open their book.  Madeline does that.  Unbeloved is no different and although I met Dorothy, Jase, and Hawk in the previous Undeniable books, I was not at all prepared for way they affected me so deeply.  I loved them.  I hated them.  I loved to hate them.  I knew I was going to love this book.  I knew sixty year old Deuce was still going to be a grouchy old asshole.

“Why are you bringin’ this shit up now?  You want me to suck your dick or somethin’?”

I knew Cox and Kami were going to make me blush and giggle.  I knew Teagan was still going to be a raving bitch.  I knew Dorothy was going to break my heart.  I just didn’t know that I was going to love Jase and Hawk.  That really surprised the hell out of me, especially since I couldn’t stand Jase before I started this book.  Learning about these beautifully flawed men changed my whole perception of them.

“Moments.”

I wasn’t prepared to love them both.  I felt like Dorothy; confused and unsure of who to pick but I knew in my heart who she belonged with, just as she did.

“I’d had that with both Jase and Hawk.  But there was only one who could steal your soul, that untouchable, unreachable place inside you that existed only in your mind, that warmed and cooled, fluttered and shook without rhyme or reason, and make it theirs forever.”

Their story is a long hard one and I was literally sobbing; crying into my kindle, wanting a happily-ever-after for them all.  I wanted Dorothy to finally have what she so deserved after so long; the love of a man completely devoted to only her.  It seemed that nothing was ever easy for her.  How long should one poor woman have to suffer; her whole life seeming nothing but a series of endless mistakes?

“Ain’t no such thing as mistakes,” he said.  “There’s only shit that happens and shit that don’t.”

The chemistry between Dorothy and Jase and Dorothy and Hawk is undeniable (like I how I did that :)).  I found the sex scenes in this book less gritty and raw and more tender and loving.  In general, Madeline never puts sex scenes in her books just for the sake of sex.  They are masterfully placed in her books to evoke strong emotions and the scenes in Unbeloved nearly undid me.  They were so incredibly meaningful and loving.

I,  never, ever do spoilers but I will tell you this; you will get your happily-ever-after.  It will leave you a big old snotty blubbering mess.  I thought the ending was perfect.  Everyone was where they should be after a long and lonely road.  (Big sigh)

The Undeniable Series just keeps getting better and better.  With every book I feel closer and closer to these amazing characters that toe the line between good and evil so closely.  Madeline has a brilliant way of making you love people who are not necessarily good people.  This is probably why I consider her the Queen of MC; the ultimate motorcycle club author.  I cannot wait to find out what happens next.

“I will wait for fucking ever,”

About DIRE:

Dire: The Dire Wolves Chronicles

Gage was the first guy I ever wanted. He was my first crush and my first fantasy, but he wasn’t my first in any other way because he never saw me as anything more than a friend— at least not until the night that changed everything.

It was all Gage’s fault. He insisted we drive through the storm and take the back roads. By the time the storm hit full force we had no chance. One night of snowbound sex changed our relationship forever. The problem was at the same time I caught another guy’s attention. This other guy happens to be the alpha of a pack of shifter wolves.
