♥Falling Away – Teaser♥
(unedited, subject to change prior publication)
“You’re afraid of yourself,” he said flatly. “Not me.”
And then he backed up, looking down at me.” And that’s why you’re gutless, K.C.” All the softness from his voice was now gone. “Now I have to shower, and you need to leave.”
And he turned around and strode for the men’s locker room.
I shook my head.
He was wrong. I wasn’t gutless. Why did he keep saying that?
I sniffled and cleared my throat, standing tall. “Maybe I just don’t want you,” I blurted out and damn near smiled when he spun around, looking surprised. “Maybe I just don’t want you, Jax. Did you ever consider there might be one woman in this world that doesn’t pant after you?”
And I breathed out a small laugh as I spun around and headed for the door.
But before I even reached the handle, an arm circled my waist, yanking me back into a warm body, and I gasped just as my hair was swiped to the side and a hot mouth was on my neck.
Everything fell apart. My knees buckled, but he held me tight as my eyes closed, and my neck fell to the side, inviting him in.
Oh, my God!
It felt so good. I couldn’t think. I couldn’t pull away. I couldn’t stop him. His mouth was like hot water pouring over me, creating a blanket of heat. His teeth grazed my skin, rough but not hard, and he slid his lips and teeth over the sensitive area under my ear, and I wasn’t sure if he was kissing me or getting ready to eat me.
He left short but deep kisses across my neck, at the base, and under my ear. His tongue flicked my ear lobe right before his other hand reached around and turned my chin to him.
And then his mouth was on mine. I moaned and gasped, probably sounding like I was in pain, but I couldn’t help it. The tornado between my legs made my skin tingle.
Jax’s tongue found mine, and I groaned into his mouth, inhaling his scent that reminded me of summer. Of sweet cotton candy on a Ferris Wheel and cool water on hot skin.
The heat, the wetness, the taste, everything was hard and fast as his lips worked mine.
Keeping the same arm around my waist, his other hand left my face and dove straight under my skirt and into my panties.
“Oh,” I whimpered a muffled groan into his mouth that still held me hostage. What was he doing? I needed to stop this!
But my eyes fluttered as his smooth fingers dipped into my center, swirling the wetness already there around my clit.
And then his mouth left mine, and he yanked me up off my feet and growled in my ear.
“You’re so wet for me, K.C.” His voice was hard and threatening. “You’re gutless, helpless, and a fucking liar, too.”
And then he dropped me on my ass, and I fell to the mats, shaking with confusion.
All I heard behind me was a door open and close, and I knew I was alone.
Bringing a shaky hand to my mouth, I sucked in air like it was going out of style. “Holy shit,” I whispered.

Scoring Wilder by R.S. Grey Review
5 Smooches
Synopsis
What started out as a joke— seduce Coach Wilder—soon became a goal she had to score.
With Olympic tryouts on the horizon, the last thing nineteen-year-old Kinsley Bryant needs to add to her plate is Liam Wilder. He’s a professional soccer player, America’s favorite bad-boy, and has all the qualities of a skilled panty-dropper.
• A face that makes girls weep – check.
• Abs that can shred Parmesan cheese (the expensive kind) – check.
• Enough confidence to shift the earth’s gravitational pull – double check.
Not to mention Liam is strictly off limits . Forbidden. Her coaches have made that perfectly clear. (i.e. “Score with Coach Wilder anywhere other than the field and you’ll be cut from the team faster than you can count his tattoos.”) But that just makes him all the more enticing…Besides, Kinsley’s already counted the visible ones, and she is not one to leave a project unfinished.
Kinsley tries to play the game her way as they navigate through forbidden territory, but Liam is determined to teach her a whole new definition for the term “team bonding.”
A fun & sexy New Adult Romance (age 17+)
Review
“Cheat on me once, shame on him. Cheat on me twice . . . what the actual fuck is going on.”
Poor Kinsley, she has been burned twice by her two previous boyfriends and is ready to give up on men and focus on her soccer career and training for the Olympic trials. That is until she meets her sexy new coach and super famous and super hot bad boy. Liam Wilder! The one man who really gets her engines revving and the one man she CANNOT have.
“No, No. No thank you. That’s not possible. He couldn’t be my coach. He was too busy licking models to coach a soccer team.”
This book had everything I look for in a New Adult book! It was fun, funny, sexy and had a forbidden romance to boot! I could not have asked for a more perfect summer read than Scoring Wilder. If there is one kind of man who gets my lady parts all ready to go it is a tattooed bad boy with a sweet side. This is Liam completely. I am in love, LOVE, with Liam Wilder and not afraid to tell everyone! R.S. Grey has written a book that completely captivated me I could not put it down. I started this book sitting on the beach and had finished it before I had gotten out of the sun.
“How do you show off a Brazilian wax, Becca? ‘Hey everyone, check out my shiny vagina’?”
OK, I need to take a second and talk about the hidden gem in Scoring Wilder. That is Becca! OMG I need a BFF like Becca! The entire book and pretty much all the main characters were hilarious but Becca took that to a whole new level. She was innocent yet raunchy. Becca was the perfect thing to lighten up any tense moment that a forbidden romance brings!.
“Well. Let’s add that to the list of things he can do. 1. Sex-up ladies 2. Play professional soccer 3. Wear Calvin Klein briefs like it’s his life’s calling 4. Climb tall rope things.”
The whole book was cute, sweet, fun and well written. While not super heavy on angst and drama it did have a great plot with some of the best characters I have encountered. Kinsley was strong yet still young and fun and not afraid to make a few wrong decisions. Her devotion to both her team and her friends is a quality all girls can look up to and watching Liam bring out her wild and crazy side was a joy to encounter. I love college age romances because you get to see how these characters grow and learn more so than you do in older romances. Kinsley changed and learned so much in this book I really felt like she was coming in to her own and learning how to be a college soccer star and a sexy young woman all at the same time.
“Liam Wilder brought out a side of me that no guy had seen before. It was a little wild and a little reckless, but with him, there was no other option.”
Writing good dialogue and banter is difficult and many authors, including some I very much love, have not done near as good a job as R.S. Grey has with this book. I was constantly laughing and texting one liners to my friends. That is no easy feat and Ms. Grey should really be proud of all the hard work she put into this book. On top of the great dialogue is the fact that she wrote characters I completely fell in love with and a story I could read again and again has made Scoring Wilder a book I will be recommending to everyone who enjoys a fast and fun romance!
“He was a world-class athlete whose body was made for professional level sporting events. I was learning in that moment that it was also made for professional-level fucking.”
Now I want to say one thing (more to inject just a bit of my own humor here.) I did have one small problem that I believe is very me oriented and not something that will affect anyone else (that would be a crazy coincidence), the names!! LIAM AND KINSLEY!! AHHH!! So it happens that my niece and nephew (brother and sister) are named, you guessed it, Liam and Kinsley!!! WHAT! For a good portion of the book this did not bother me . . . and then it did! (just a bit) Reading them call out those names in moments of passion was a bit odd but I loved the book so much I have decided while reading it to block my family out of my head and just enjoy the moment! This was a FABOULOUS read and I cannot wait for more books from R.S. Grey!
“Dear Mr. Klein or should I call you Calv, It’s me again, Kinsley. Thanks so much for designing your underwear line. If you ever need a focus group for future designs, I’d like to be included. I’m a very good package inspector with excellent attention to detail. Attached you will find my list of references.”

Escaped Artist by Victoria Green and Jinsey Reese Review
5 Smooches
Synopsis
Dare Wilde is out. The McKinley family has ruined his relationship with Reagan for the last time. He’s in Amsterdam, staying with his rock star brother Dash, ready to move on with his life and get Ree out of his head.
Finally, and for good. Problem is, he loves her.
So when fate leads Reagan to his door again, the two must decide whether their new-found love is worth the risk. Because two fractured parts can’t make a whole, and they must face the demons of Reagan’s past if they are to have a future together.
A muse and her artist. A star-crossed love.
Will the past catch up to them…or have they finally escaped?
Review
“She’d snuck her way into my mind and heart, and now refused to let go. Or maybe I wouldn’t let her go. She was my addiction, but there was no twelve-step program to scrub her out of my system.”
Escaped Artist by Victoria Green and Jinsey Reese is the third book in the Untamed Serial. I am really enjoying this fast and steamy story. My heart is constantly racing with all the angst and drama that Dare and Reagan bring and I cannot wait to get to their conclusion and hopefully Happily Ever After.
“You slay me, Ree, You fucking slay me every single time. And I let you. I always let you.”
I’ll be honest and say that Raegan is not an easy heroine to love, she really makes you work to like her. Reagan has been battling addiction to help with the depression growing up with her family and all their pressure has caused. It is nice to finally see her try to get better even if I doubt her full motives (it really needs to be for her and not Dare.) Now, Dare, he is a hero we can all swoon over. He is bruiting and sexy and always seems to do the right thing even if it is with a bit of attitude. I absolutely cannot get enough of him.
“Of course I want you, But you have no idea how fucking badly I NEED you.”
I’ll be honest and say this whole serial is super sexy and not the kind of book you want to read in public for fear of intense blushing. I personally believe it had a perfect mix of angst and sex to keep me constantly entertained and dying for the next installment. Victoria and Jinsey have definitely created something quite addictive in the Untamed Series!
“This wasn’t an escape. It was real life. Dirty, gritty, magnificent. Dare was mine. I was his. And I was never letting him go.”

Braided Strings by Kaprice Potter Review

Synopsis
CARA WYATT fell in love with her best friend.
She’d been afraid to share her feelings with him, until one day, when an impulsive decision gave them the opportunity at a relationship that they’d been denying for years…
DELANEY BLAKE was in love with Cara from the moment he met her.
He knew she relied on him, but Cara didn’t realize he relied on her just as much. However, he had plans. A strict outline of what his future should be, and he was determined to make them happen. When Delaney was faced with having to choose between her and his future, he panicked, and Cara pushed him away believing it was better than facing potential rejection.
More than a year later, she has to risk facing that rejection, and even worse, anger for the SECRETS she kept from him when it all fell apart…
Review
This was a novella about a young woman named Cara, who’s boyfriend walked out when Cara announced she was pregnant in college. Later on that same night she thinks it’s a mistake and let’s Delaney know that she isn’t pregnant anymore, but she refuses to let him back into her life and into her heart. A few years on Cara knows she has to tell Delaney the truth and reveal her secret in the form of her and Delaney’s child Sutton. Will they be able to build a family or will Cara still struggle to let Delaney back in? And will Delaney be able to forgive Cara for keeping Sutton a secret for so long?
I have to admit I’m normally not a fan of Novella’s because I feel they can be too rushed, that there’s not enough of a story or that the story was so good it should have been a full novel…but I have to admit I quite enjoyed this sweet but short book.
“Cara look at me. I need you to see. You can’t hide from it anymore.”
I easily fell in love with Delaney and Sutton. I thought Delaney was a dream man and just made a small mistake when he was young and tried to rectify it. He was adorable with Sutton and was so in love with Cara and was willing to do anything to prove it. And Sutton was just the cutest child, a right outgoing little toddler and just adorable.
“I don’t think there’s anything that can change the way I feel. I’ve pretty much been madly in love with you since the day we met.”
I have to confess that I didn’t immediately fall in love with Cara. I thought she was too harsh on Delaney considering she had kept Sutton a secret for so long and she got a little annoying when she refused to believe Delaney loved her despite having no real reason for this thinking. She did grow on me though and because I loved the plot and the ending, by the time we got towards the end I loved her as much as the others.
“He had been her yo-yo for years. One minute she would be holding him in the palm of her hand, and the next she would whip him away from her as hard as she could.”
The plot was exactly what I want from a novella. There was an established story, that was enough to keep me entertained and was well paced. There were some good sex scenes, sweet moments and a little drama. Just the right amount of everything to not leave me frustrated that it was only a short book.
“As they had said, their strings weren’t just attached, they were braided tight.”
Overall a sweet, endearing and enjoyable read that would be perfect for a quick holiday read or to pass time lazying in the sun.

Gorgeous Rotten Scoundrel by Nina G. Jones Blog Tour and Giveaway
He was a pig, a jerk, selfish, callous, crude, tactless, prone to outbursts and gorgeous. The kind of gorgeous where you didn’t even attempt to hide the fact that you were staring. I knew the type: His entire life he has coasted on his good looks, artificial charm, and sex appeal. Everyone wanted to be on him or be him. I had been hurt by jerks like him before. He was like those guys but far worse.
I was the unfortunate sucker to be offered a gig I desperately needed as his live-in chef for a Summer in the Hamptons. But I wasn’t like the other girls, the models and socialites who came through the revolving door of his bedroom. I would bite the bullet, take the gig, deal with his sexist comments, his expectation that I would fawn over him, and have no problem letting the door hit my ass on the way out when I was done.
But then something unexpected happened that changed everything and I realized that there maybe more to him than the labels I had affixed to his character. Maybe. But if he really wanted me, it wasn’t going to be easy, not like everything else in his life. He was going to have to work, I was going to make him miserable. He was going to hate wanting me just as much as I hated myself for wanting him back.
Heath Hillabrand: International Supermodel. Womanizer.
Gorgeous Rotten Scoundrel.
“You’re a big boy,” I said, lifting his legs up.
“You’re an angel,” he murmured, woozy from the booze.
I used all of my might to push him in further, and slipped on the rug, falling on his chest. Our faces were within inches of each other, and yes, there was that pause, that moment of: should we or shouldn’t we? But unlike before, he didn’t jump at me. He respected me now, and it only made me enjoy him more.
“Alright, goodnight.”
“Goodnight,” he smiled warmly.
I meandered back to my bedroom, still heady from the wine. This quiet evening was the most pleasant one I had in a long time and I felt a surprising sting of sadness going back to my room alone.
I lay in my bed, staring at the ceiling, unable to sleep. I missed him. Like Heath, I too didn’t want to be alone. I couldn’t remember the last time I felt that way. It wasn’t just physical, it’s that feeling you had as a kid when you met a friend you liked so much that even though you spent all day with them at school, as soon as you got home you would call them up. Or the way you might stay awake as long as you could at a sleepover because no matter how tired you were, sleep was not nearly as enjoyable as the conversation with your friends. I wasn’t ready for our time together that night to end.
The wine in my veins made me shameless enough to follow through.
I tip-toed to his room and slowly opened the door. In my gut, I hoped he might be asleep and I would change my mind.
“Is everything okay?” he asked almost as soon as I stepped foot in the room.
“Yes, I couldn’t sleep.” What the hell are you doing? Tell him you’re here to check in on him as his new nurse—yeah, that’s the ticket!
“Oh, me neither. It hard with all this crap on me,” he said in an amused whisper. He was as close to a mummy as I had ever seen.
“I don’t want to be alone tonight.”
“Okay.”

Review
Where to start…….this wasn’t your typical romance book. Sadie is a personal chef and Heath is a HOT male model. Circumstances make her available for a new position, which happens to be a chef/assistant/party planner to the big headed model. But Sadie has been burnt and isn’t prepared to end up in a situation like that again, enter sarcastic comments and bursts of truth. She doesn’t seem to have a filter when she doesn’t like something.
Sadie has a sad background and gives you a slight insight into why she is like she is, enter a bad relationship and you get closed off Sadie, not looking for anything with the bad boy arrogant jerk types and therefore doesn’t want to form a close relationship of any sort with Heath.
Heath comes across as the typical playboy, he gets what he wants, when he wants. It seems as though Sadie is just a challenge to him. And they both like to push each other’s buttons. But there is so many more layers to him that you can’t help but love him.
“Those nights when you and I would just talk, don’t tell me you didn’t feel what I felt.”
Working with heath straight away seems to be a problem for Sadie, from his late night activities and the habits he has, to the no nonsense air he has about him seems to rub her the wrong way. But she can’t stay away from him.
“Heath Hillabrand is bad news…no, he’s the worst news. But the way he kissed me, it was almost tender.”
Heath and Sadie’s relationship takes a turn after an incident leaves Heath quite vulnerable and alone, this starts the roller-coaster that is Sadie and Heath. The banter between these two is hilarious to read and the tension between them is off the charts. You don’t know whether they will fight or get down and dirty.
“You are a pompous, egotistical, arrogant, rude, tactless, a*hole.” You know what you are, you are an uptight…yeah I know you love that don’t you? Uptight, stuck – up, prissy, prudish, snob.”
They have many ups and downs in their relationship, it seems like neither one is willing to go that little bit more from friends with benefits to something more. Sadie seems to be dragging her heels a little more though. Heath makes her feel things that she hasn’t before and it scares her. Just when things seem to be going well for these 2, people emerge, things are said, things are taken the wrong way and a gut wrenching made me cry incident happens.
This book will take you on a rollercoaster of emotions, to laughing with them and then crying with them. Heath and Sadie had an amazing story and is a complete must read. Well done Nina G Jones on another fantastic read.
“It’s okay. You’re the perfect b*tch and im the perfect a*hole”

EXCERPT:
I let out the breath I was holding and took another step closer to her. The water was splashing on the sleeve of my shirt as I reached up to grab both of her cheeks in my palms. “Are you scared of me?”
It was the start of the questions I had asked her what felt like a lifetime ago. Her answer didn’t change, but this time when she answered, she was holding back a smile that made my heart hurt.
“Terrified, but I kind of like it now.”
“Do you trust me?” My voice broke. I had never really trusted anyone but Race and now there was her and my brother and just all kinds of new things making my life so much more complicated and undeniably fuller.
“With my life. I trust all the parts of you, Bax. You need to know that.”
“You going to go to bed with me?” That made her outright laugh and she reached up to curl her hands around my wrists.
“As often as I can and anyplace in between when the mood strikes.” The rest of the blood racing around my system went solidly south.
I dropped my forehead so it was resting on hers and the water from the showerhead was cascading down around us. I was making a mess, but I didn’t care because I had her, and she was my home. “Do you love me?”
The words sounded so foreign, but so right, when I was saying them to her. She brushed her full lips across mine and the last three months without her faded away.
“Do you want me to lie to you or tell you the truth?”
I smiled against her mouth and kissed her back twice as hard as she had kissed me. “Lie to me.”
She reached up and put her arms around my neck and took a step back, dragging me all the way into the shower stall with her. The water was lukewarm at best, and it made me shiver. So did the fact that she started to impatiently pull the tail of my shirt up over my head. A task made increasingly difficult considering I was now soaked head to toe and the material was clinging to me.
“Of course not. You’re the last person in the world I could love.”

“Oh, Archer,” Ivy says, pulling me from my thoughts.
Turning to face her, I see that her eyes are filling with tears and her face looks ready to crumple. I go to her, grabbing hold of her hands and giving them a squeeze. “What’s wrong, baby?”
“I feel bad.” A little sob escapes her as she shakes her head. I tug her in as close as I can, slinging my arm around her waist. “I’m going to ruin Gage’s wedding.”
“No you’re not. It’s going to be one of the most memorable weddings ever. No one will forget this day,” I say, smoothing my hand over her hair. I want her reassured, not worrying about wedding plans. Everything we know is going to change in mere hours.
“Exactly. It’s supposed to be Gage and Marina’s day and instead it’s going to turn into our day. Our child’s day. How selfish are we?”
“We’re not selfish. We can’t help it if you’re going into labor right now. It’s not like we did it on purpose.” I shed the rest of my clothes quickly, throwing on a pair of jeans and a T-shirt. “Speaking of labor, we need to get going. Are you ready? Get some shoes on, babe.” I give her a gentle push out of my embrace and toward the closet door across our bedroom.
“We? Who’s the one who’s about to give birth?” Ivy mutters as she shuffles toward the closet. A little snort escapes her. “You won’t have anything to do with this labor stuff, Archer. This is all on me.”
“And I think you’re going to do an amazing job. You’re the strongest women I know,” I say.
At those words, my wife promptly bursts into tears.

Still, she’s just as beautiful as she is stubborn, and the more time he spends with Kayla, the less it feels right being without her. Soon Daren and Kayla begin to wonder if maybe the best gift Kayla’s dad could have left them . . . was each other.
EXCERPT:
Still handcuffed together, we carefully maneuver our linked wrists and open the old train door. Inside, the boxcar is completely empty except for a single, folded piece of paper.
I scowl. Will this scavenger hunt for money ever end?
“What do you suppose it is?” Daren nods at the piece of paper in the back of the train car.
“A check for a million dollars?” I say hopefully.
The only way to reach the paper is to climb inside. Which won’t be easy since my chest barely reaches the bottom of the train car and we can’t climb in one at a time because, you know, we’re attached to one another.
I frown. “How do you want to do this?”
Daren scratches his jaw. “I’ll hoist you inside first then I’ll jump in. Come here.” He turns me around to face him and I step into the circle of his arms.
The summer sun burns down on us. I stare at his chest where his T-shirt pulls tight against the hard muscles of his pecs and a trickle of sweat slowly slides down the back of my neck.
The corded muscles of his neck ripple as he turns his head. “Hold on to my wrists. Then I’ll lift you up.”
He places his big hands on my waist and his thumbs slide under my shirt, grazing the bare skin of my stomach. A warm zing shoots down my belly.
I snap my eyes to him. “Did you do that on purpose?”
“Do what?” His expression is neutral but there’s a glimmer in his eye.
I eye him shrewdly as I wrap my hands around his wrists.
He glides the pads of his thumbs over my stomach again and another, more powerful, zing darts straight down my belly and between my legs as I suck in a breath.
“Cut it out,” I say.
“Cut what out?” His eyes dance with amusement.
“You know what.”
“I have no idea what you’re talking about.” A mischievous grin spreads across his face and I can’t stop the smile that starts to play at my own lips.
“Daren…”
His eyes lock on mine and the twitching low in my belly starts up again. Then his gaze drops to my mouth and hunger lights his eyes.
I absently part my lips, my thoughts suddenly hazy.
Leaning in, he whispers, “Now do you want to kiss again?”
His words flutter over my ear like soft, warm butterflies beating their wings against my sensitive skin and a shiver runs through me.
The answer is yes. I do want to kiss him again. It felt so good to have his mouth on mine last night. To feel him up against me.
But I don’t answer.
He brushes his thumbs over the naked skin of my belly again, but this time dips them inside the waistband of my skirt and skims the lacey top of my panties.
I inhale sharply, tightening my fingers around his wrists as my nipples harden and heat builds in my core. I rub my thighs together, trying to alleviate the ache slowly building between my legs but it’s no use. I’m already a tight puddle of need.
How come this beautiful man can make me melt with just a simple touch? And how come it’s always so difficult for me to snap out of his sexy gaze?
I blink away from Daren’s pretty brown eyes and playfully whisper, “No,” before shifting back a few inches.
His eyelids, heavy with desire, open fully as he scans my face and throat with a smile. “Liar.”
I smile back, grateful he doesn’t try to convince me otherwise. I’d no doubt give in if he did. Because Daren affects me.
Every other guy on the planet is just that: a guy.
But Daren is a force. And I am a feather.
Chelsea lives in Phoenix, Arizona where she spends most of her time writing stories, painting murals, and avoiding housework at all costs. She’s ridiculously bad at doing dishes and claims to be allergic to laundry. Her obsessions include: superheroes, coffee, sleeping-in, and crazy socks. She lives with her husband and two children, who graciously tolerate her inability to resist teenage drama on TV and her complete lack of skill in the kitchen.
